PTET Mock Test 2023: Pre – Teacher Education Test (PTET) is conducted every year in state of Rajasthan to provide admissions to the eligible students in B. Ed (Bachelor of Education) and BA/ B.Sc (Bachelor of Arts) / (Bachelor of Science) B. Ed courses offered at universities situated in the state of Rajasthan.

The examination is held yearly in offline mode. The exam for the year 2023 will be conducted by Government Dungar College, Bikaner, Rajasthan. The exam was to be held in May, 2021 but has been postponed till further notice depending on the COVID-19 situation. The concerned department will announce the future date for the exam shortly. However, it is estimated that the exam now would be conducted in the month of July.

Eligibility:

The criteria that candidates need to fulfill in order to meet Rajasthan PTET eligibility are:

  • Clear graduation with minimum 50% marks in order to be eligible for B. Ed courses through PTET.
  • Clear XII with minimum 50% marks in order to be eligible for Pre BA B. Ed / B. ScB. Ed courses.

Exam Pattern

  • The exam consists of four sections namely; mental ability; teaching attitude and aptitude test; general awareness and language proficiency (Hindi or English).
  • Each section consists of 50 objective type questions with 3 marks for each correct answer. There is no negative marking.
  • Maximum time to complete the exam is 3 hours.
  • It is estimated that if a student completes the entire paper on time, his or her chances of cracking the exam are high.
